Saturday evening, Duane came in and said Cookie was hurt. He thought it was her shoulder, upper leg area on her left front side. She couldn't put very much weight on it.
Sunday morning, she still wouldn't walk on it. But if she was laying down, trying to get up, she could put weight on her knee. I felt her leg, checked her hoof, and couldn't find anything wrong. She also started having intestinal difficulities again.
Today, Monday, she isn't doing very well at all. She won't/can't get up. She will eat, if you put it under her face, but she's not very happy. She was yelling while eating. She was locked in the barn with her sister, Speckles, last night. Cookie was shivering this morning. We but her in a box, and brought her on the porch. It's so cold outside, that we had to let the other goats in the barn. The went in, and immediately started headbutting Cookie. I took Cookies temp, but it was 96. something. Extremely low for a goat. We did give her a dose of wormer this morning, before I took her temp. We think she's going to die shortly, and we're not sure why. :(
